Dr. Michael Good

Remembering Dr. Michael Good

We want to always remember Dr. Michael Good, who was a valued member of our organization and one of the HSVMA Georgia State Co-Representatives. Dr. Good owned and operated the Town and Country Veterinary Clinic in Marietta, Georgia, for over 40 years. He tirelessly worked to provide veterinary care and find loving homes for pets in need. His kind and compassionate nature towards animals and their owners will be dearly missed, as evidenced by the outpouring of remembrances on the clinic's Facebook page.

Dr. Good was also recognized for his advocacy work in animal welfare, particularly in eliminating the inhumane practices of large-scale commercial breeding facilities. He believed that educating people on the humane treatment of animals was vital to building a more compassionate future for them. As a testament to this belief, he founded the Homeless Pet Clubs of America, which provided a fun and effective way for young people to help homeless pets in their communities.
