Dr. Michael Good attended Purdue University from '72 - '74 and was accepted into the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine as a "Two-Year Wonder". Dr. Good graduated in 1978 and became a practice owner one year later.Dr. Good is interested in all aspects of medicine and surgery pertaining to dogs and cats. His nearly 30 years of experience, and his efforts to continuously educate himself on the advances in veterinary medicine have made him one of the most respected veterinarians in the Southeast. Dr. Good has won numerous awards including the 1990 Cobb County Veterinarian of the Year, the 1991 Greater Atlanta Veterinarian of the Year, and the 1999 HSMA Veterinarian of the Year.
In 1998, Dr. Good formed the Homeless Pets Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, after he saw a need to create an organization that could assist animal shelters and pet owners in need. In the Atlanta area alone, there are more than 100,000 animals destroyed each year for lack of a home. The Foundation provides critical medical care, food, foster care and comfort to these homeless animals.
In his spare time, Dr. Good enjoys playing basketball, swimming, spending time with his son, and walking his dogs.

Leigh Anne Pierce is the General Manager of Acres Mill. She has been in the veterinary field for over 25 years. Before becoming a part of Acres Mill in 2002, she worked with Dr. Good at his main practice in Marietta for many years. Leigh Anne is a busy wife and mother of two boys. |

Dr. Michele Stewart received her undergraduate degree in 1998 from UGA and her DVM from Ross University in 2002. She completed her clinical year at Oklahoma State University. She has been a devoted part of Acres Mill since 2005. Her interests are in emergency and preventative medicine as well as orthopedic procedures including cranial cruciate and patella repair. Dr. Stewart and her husband welcomed their baby girl Kendra in July 2010. |

Dr. Dwight Alleyne received his DVM from Cornell University in 2006 and will celebrate 2 years with Acres Mill in March 2012. His interests are in emergency medicine and orthopedic repairs, specifically bone plating. When not caring for patients, he is an active member of his church and a busy father of two. Dr. Alleyne and his wife and son welcomed baby Tatiana April 2011. |

Bethany Weaver has enjoyed working with Acres Mill for almost a decade. When not busy managing the practice, she loves spending time with her family and two dogs. Bethany is an active member of Perimeter Church in Duluth and serves as a discipleship leader in the youth ministry there. She is pictured with her niece Gina. |
